Welcome. This is the website of the Institute of Macroeconomics at the Leibniz University of Hannover.
The Institute of Macroeconomics is headed by Prof. Dr. Martin Gassebner and is part of the Economics and Management Department. The members of the institute work on topics such as: Macroeconomics, Growth and Development, Political Economy, Economics of Terrorism, Conflict Studies, International Trade, Economic Integration and Globalization.
Courses which are taught on introductory level as well as on advanced level are aligned with the institute's research agenda. In particular, we offer the basic course in Macroeconomic Theory for students in our Bachelor program. Advanced courses include: Economics of Terrorism, Advanced Macroeconomics, and International Economics.
